Retirement Properties Spotlight in Cleveleys

Blackpool : Blackpool is a major holiday resort about 15 miles northwest of Preston and famous for its Illuminations along the promenade. It began to develop as a recreational resort in the mid 18th century but it wasn't until the late 19th century that Blackpool Tower was built. The famous promenade follows the sands for about seven miles and the Pleasure Beach is a huge amusement park. Blackpool is well known for its many shows and entertainments and continues to attract holidaymakers in the summer hoping for some sun.
