Forres : Forres is about 25 miles northeast of Inverness close to Findhorn Bay between Nairn and Elgin. There has been a castle here for over a 1000 years and Sueno's stone is thought to commorate a major battle many years earlier. The town is well known for its floral sculptures and nearby Brodie Castle has a beautigul daffodil display in the spring. The town sits to the east of the floodplain of the River Findhorn which flows into Findhorn Bay.
