Retirement Properties Spotlight in Bagshot

Bagshot : Bagshot is a town in Surrey about four miles north-west of Camberley and less than two miles from Junction 3 of the M3 motorway. Its name probably derives from 'projecting piece of land frequented by badgers' and the town is still surrounded by pine and fir woods. Today it is becoming increasingly more urbanised though the wide commons, sandy heaths and woodlands remain. The road through Bagshot was once the coaching road between London and Exeter and Bagshot Heath was notorious for highwaymen.
