Retirement Properties Spotlight in Great Dunmow

Great Dunmow is an attractive old market town by the River Chelmer about seven miles west of Braintree. Little Dunmow is just to the east of the town and both lie on the old Roman road of Stane Street which runs from Hertfordshire through to Colchester. The town was prosperous in the middle ages and has a fine 16th century town hall.
